About
I am Katharina
I am
... motivated by using my capabilities to support positive impact on society and the planet.
... passionate about listening to and co-creating with humans, hearing about their perspectives and empathizing with their experiences.
... an analytical and strategic thinker, consuming different sources of information and constantly connecting the dots, you can also call it overthinking.
... a critical voice, not afraid to question the status quo, especially when it comes to inequality. I enjoy playing ping pong with pros and cons and different perspectives.
My perspective
As humans growing up as part of society we all have a unique way of looking at the world. I acknowledge the fact, that my perspective is biased by my identity, my experiences and my education. To give you a glimpse of my perspective:
I am a white, cisgender, heterosexual woman with an invisible disability (Diabetes Type 1). I grew up in Germany, where I had free access to higher education, healthcare and a highly developed infrastructure. Being the first academic in my family, I grew up in a working-class family with three siblings, surrounded by lively discussions and encouragement to stand up for my values.
